Night shifts teach you what production means.
I'm a Plant Engineering Supervisor on the night shift at UPS Worldport, the largest automated package-handling facility in the world. When something breaks at 3 a.m., there's no ticket queue. You find it, you fix it, and the planes leave on time.
That mindset shapes everything I build. I taught myself AWS and run a fleet of production systems on the side: trading bots, pipelines, and monitors, all designed to keep operating when I'm asleep, in class, or on the plant floor.
By day I'm a triple major in Computer Science, Finance, and Philosophy at the University of Louisville. The combination is deliberate: build the system, understand the market, question the assumptions.
